Turmeric, or Haldi as they call it in India is such an amazing ingredient. This dried yellow root has so many medicinal qualities and because of its bitter taste, according to ayurveda it enhances the flavour of any other taste when combined with it.
Actually the Haldi bonbon is a medinical chocolate on its own, as it contains a combination of vanilla, ginger and turmeric. Ayurvedically this is used to cure or prevent colds and in higher doses as an anti inflamatory medicine.
For me it combines perfectly with the coconut-cashew-praliné.
Bite through the dark raw chocolate and you will discover the rich yellow sweetness that hides inside.
The praliné is sweetened with dates and the raw chocolate with a hint of maple syrup.
